Week #5 (Feb 14-21)

This was an okay week. I lost 1 pound and now weigh in at 227. I worked out a lot and ate well but I didn't work hard enough to lose more weight. The big challenge is the next two weeks. The reason is that I am flying to New York for business and a friends Bachelor Party. I will be there a week and a half. I know that I probably won't lose any weight but I am hoping to not gain any weight. I will go meal to meal and try to eat right plus try to get some exercise in. I am going to do the best that I can to still eat healthy while I am there. Let's see how it goes.

Week #4 (Feb 7-14)

This was a much better week as I worked out very hard and ended up losing 3-4 pounds. To be on the safe side, I will officially say 3 pounds to bring the total is 228 with a total loss of 15 pounds. I also ate really well and stayed on the program most of the time eating 4-5 small meals a day consisting of a protein, small carb like rice, and a vegetable plus drinking 10 glasses of water.

Even though this is a diet, it really is just called eating healthy. In my opinion, Americans have been educated so terribly on what to eat in the past 20 years or so for the sake of financial gain for the food industry that when someone comes along saying eat small balanced meals, people say that it is a diet. Well really it is just the same advice we were told as children but in a country of people raised to eat bad and over eat, it sounds like something new. Either way, I like this new way of living life. It is hard but it makes me happy overall.

Week #3 (Jan 30-7)

This week was good but not great. I only lost 2 pounds to bring the total to 231. I only worked out once and ate okay. I didn't do as good of a job as I did the prior two weeks. Still, I am ready to make this week a good one. I am going to eat better and work out more so I can get out of the 230's forever. The total now is 12 pounds.
